Profezie dei pontefici, ca. 1829.

A compilation of apocalyptic predictions, based on the traditional legends and symbolism associated with the Antichrist. The 26 illustrations depict papal figures together with animals, both real and mythical, as well as a tower engulfed in flames and a township overrun by soldiers bearing pikes and spears. Each page is headed by a prophetic caption, under which appear detailed descriptions (in different hands) of the cosmographic and terrestrial conditions relevant to the realization of the prediction. The final eight pages list the Popes from Sixtus IV to Pius VIII and prophecies attributed to them, inscribed in Latin.
